Met Gala dress code inspires sartorial rebels

'China edition' blends past with present

She chose accessories from throughout the past century by leading designers of their time who invented new ways to embellish the dress. Many come from her personal collection.

"I have been collecting and wearing fashion accessories for years－they are my essential treasures," she sighs.

"The majority of the items exhibited are mine or from friends Jeannine and Jean-Marie Hattemberg, or journalist and collector Antigone Schilling, among others."
