Despite the fact that digital media is developing rapidly, the printed media is also adored by quite a number of people.
As far as I am concerned, digital media can hardly replace the printed media in the future. Instead, the future media may be a combination of the printed media and digital media. Why?In my opinion, both of the media boast their own advantages. Digital media can provide their readers with tremendous information as soon as possible while the printed media can be available even in remote areas where people cannot afford digital media.
As a result, the future media will develop towards two dimensions. On the one hand, the printed media will still take its market share, but the share could probably derease to an extent. People may rely on the printed media just out of habbit or just to make themself comfortable. Affected by rising digital technology, the printed media may also be upgraded to meet the demands of modern society.
On the other hand, there is also a lot of space for digital media to improve. Some technology is still not perfect, some even in experimental stage. So, digital media must be upgraded to enable customers to enjoy high-quality services.
To sum up, future media in my eyes will be a combination of both the printed media and digital media. Of course, they must be upgraded with advanced technology to meet modern demands.
