Fang Shimin, known as Fang Zhouzi, has a long history of exposing academic fraud and spurious celebrity claims. The year 2013 saw his ongoing combat with fierce opponents of genetically modified food, especially after Cui Yongyuan, former CCTV anchorman and now a teacher at Communication University of China, joined the anti-GM campaign.
