Rumsfeld in town to discuss military exchanges

US Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld
waves as he walks into a hotel in Beijing October 18, 2005. Rumsfeld is in
Beijing for a three-day visit to try to boost exchanges with the Chinese
military and discuss regional security worries over North Korea. Rumsfeld,
who will also visit South Korea, Mongolia, Kazakhstan and Lithuania, is
making his first trip to China since taking office in 2001.
