Changsha traffic police department has recently launched high-definition (HD) electronic policing system in 11 more crossroads in the city to detect traffic violations.

So far, the electronic policing system covers all the major crossings and road sections in the city. The HD versions in the urban area have now amounted to 117, making traffic violations nowhere to go unnoticed even during the night.

The Changsha traffic police said that they are able to make timely adjustments to the new high-tech traffic equipment based on road traffic conditions and traffic control focus.

Not only can the newly deployed HD e-police snapshot the illegal traffic actions and record information of the related vehicles 24 hours a day, but also monitor traffic parameters such as the traffic volume during a given time.
