According to the Songya Lake Administration in Changsha county, Hunan province, the pavement constructions of Xiangdi Road, Laodaohe Road, Wanming Road and Huanhu Road, which go round Songya Lake, have now been completed and are ready for traffic, Xingsha News reported on Dec 25.
The Xiangdi Road is located on the west bank of the Lake, and connects Binhu Road to the south with Laodaohe Road to the north, covering a total length of 2.25 kilometers. Its landscaping and lighting has recently been completed and are in the process of acceptance checks.

Meanwhile, the construction of the Songya Lake tunnel and bridge have also been completed, with electromechanical equipment and railings now being installed, according to Peng Qiang, the chief engineer of the administration.
Xiangdi Road, Laodaohe Road and Wanming Road are all regular municipal roads, whereas Huanhu Road only allows for battery vehicles, bicycles and pedestrians.
