One person was killed in a landslide caused by rain, and flooding forced the relocation of 10,000 residents in Suining county, local authorities said on Saturday. Heavy rain started to pelt Suining at 3 am, with 186 millimeters falling by noon in one township, the county flood control headquarters' office said. The rainstorms disrupted traffic, power and telecommunications in 10 townships. About 112,000 residents had been affected, and 10,000 had been evacuated, it said.
