Over 200 paintings from around the globe at Beijing exhibition

Silk Road of Art, an exhibition to enhance communication between artists from around the world, has more than 200 works by painters from some 30 countries and regions.

The paintings celebrate cultural diversity and examine issues and clashes caused by urbanization.

The artists use vivid colors and various mediums to express themselves.

The exhibition is now on at Beijing's World Art Museum at the Millennium Monument. It runs until Wednesday. There are plans to exhibit the works abroad.
