The Red legacy in artists' eyes

A witness to the course of the Chinese revolution, lithographer Wang Qi (1918-2016) recorded in his works what happened to the country and its people.

An exhibition titled Scores of His Time is underway in Beijing, showcasing Wang's achievements in art. The works are selected from over 800 pieces, including engravings, drawings and ink paintings, donated by Wang to the National Art Museum of China.
