Metallica's triumphant return

US band Metallica is set to rock fans in both Shanghai and Beijing again, more than three years after its China debut. The Grammy Award-winning rock band will stage a concert in Shanghai on Jan 15 and in Beijing on Jan 18.

Formed in 1981 by drummer Lars Ulrich and guitarist and vocalist James Hetfield, Metallica has become one of the most influential and commercially successful rock bands in history, having sold 110 million albums worldwide.
