As part of Qatar China 2016 Year of Culture, a two-city exhibition now in Doha and Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, running through Nov 30 shows dozens of photos taken by six photographers from China and Qatar that offer glimpses into the cultural dynamics of both countries.
Cultures, From Different Angels, held at the Katara Cultural Village, traces a two-week journey of Chinese and Qatari artists to each other's countries earlier this year. During the expedition, they shared stories of communicating with local people on social media.
The show in Hangzhou is titled Beautiful China, Beautiful Qatar.
The works of four Chinese photographers, Bao Lixia, Huang Zuxiang, Liu Zhining and Xu Xinrong, capture the breathtaking desert views, city landscapes and rich traditions.
