The 11th China (Beijing) International Cultural & Creative Industry Expo (ICCIE), with a theme of "Stimulating Cultural Vitality to Lead Innovation in the Industry", kicked off in Beijing on Oct 27, 2016.
Delegations from 30 countries and regions are attending the expo, and 1,800 cultural and creative enterprises are displaying their products.
Serving as the expo's main venue, China International Exhibition Center covers a total area of 55,000 square meters. The expo has 18 themed exhibition areas, including a cultural entertainment and cartoon games area; press, public, radio, film and television area; Taiwan cultural and creative products area; an international cultural creativity area and an urban sculpture works area.
Since its inception in 2006, the ICCIE has played a leading role in the rapid development of China's cultural and creative industries. Over the past 10 years, it has continuously expanded its influence and brand effect as a national and international platform in the industry.
The 11th ICCIE is jointly hosted by the Ministry of Culture, the General Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television, and the Beijing Municipal People's Government. It will last till Oct 30.
