Zhuang people celebrate Longduan Festival

Longduan Festival is a traditional festival of Zhuang people (an ethnic minority of China) in Funing county of Southwest China's Yunnan province. A grand celebration was held at the bank of the Tuoniang River in Funing county on April 18, 2016. Over ten thousands of Zhuang people got together to celebrate the festival.

Longduan Festival is an important traditional festival of the Zhuang people in Funing county. The festival, with a history of nearly a thousand years, commemorates a hero of Zhuang people.

A series of celebration activities, such as singing contest, Zhuang drama performance, dragon-boat racing were held on April 18 and April 19.
