Little Arts of Cruelty by Northern Irish artist Gail Ritchie who explores and responds to poems about the Nanjing Massacre as written by Wing Tek Lum. Using a plum to symbolize the female body, the artist performed a series of violent actions in which the plum was rendered to a pulpy form, echoing the graphic violence of war.
