'The Encounter of Confucius' hits Beijing

A dance performance exploring the relationship between tradition and contemporary life will be staged in Beijing on Saturday.

The Encounter of Confucius, created by choreographer Xu Yi-Ming and performed by the ShanXi DanceLand group, will question and respond to the Confucius mindset through modern art and body language. The work is designed to stimulate the audience with philosophical thought and artistic touch.

The performance will be staged at BeijingDance/LDTX Theater.
