With demolition work underway, Sanjiang looks like a ghost town on May 23. Sanjiang, an ancient village of Ming Dynasty (1368–1644) with a history of 600 years, is situated beside the old Sanjiang village in Paojiang district of Shaoxing in East China's Zhejiang province. Its earliest written history dates back to the reign of Hongwu Emperor of Ming Dynasty. [Photo by Li Ruichang/asianewsphoto]
