Crossover show

An exhibition that/b blends artworks into an interior design environment is underway at the Easyhome Top Design Center. Nearly 50 paintings, sculptures, installations and videos are juxtaposed with articles of furniture to present a crossover show, which teams up talents of fine and practical art. The display attempts to discuss the possibilities of art being merged into household furnishing. Participating artists include Xiang Yang, Liu Wei and Zheng Jinpeng.

19th-century oil paintings

Art beat in February

The show Final Scenery and Final Masters, featuring oil paintings by master artists from the 19th century to today, opens at Beautiful Asset art space. Highlights on display include masterpieces by French impressionist Francais Francois Louis, Neo-Impressionist Paul Signac, Austrian artist Willy Eisenschitz and Fauvist master painter Raoul Dufy. Visitors have to ask for an appointment in advance to ensure the quality of their experience.

Spicy show from Scotland

Art beat in February

Red Hot Chilli Pipers, an ensemble from Scotland consisting of bagpipers, guitarists, keyboard players and drummers, became an overnight success after winning on BBC's variety show, When Will I Be Famous. Their bagpipes-and-rock combination has made them a hit overnight.
