Nuo opera is a folk art form that originates in the sacrifice rituals of Han Dynasty, it is prevalent in southern provinces of China.Dancers wear wooden masks while performing the traditional dance. The purpose of Nuo opera is to drive away devils and disease, and also to pray for blessings from heaven.
