First Chinese voice heard at the Academy Awards: Coco Lee
Coco Lee, a famous Chinese singer, has been the only Chinese nominated singer to perform at the Academy Awards. In 2001, Chinese American singer was invited to the Oscars, singing the theme song of the film Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: A Love before Time.
