The Chinese Romeo and Juliet represents the country's young people: They wear fashionable clothes, play with humorous dialect, have mobile phones and guitars, are passionate about rock 'n' roll and are always energetic, often cycling across the stage. Tian hopes to express the courage and craziness of love. Tian's previous hits include Green Snake.

Mexican art

Art beat in March

Bronze statues made by Mexican contemporary artist Jorge Marin are on display at the Guangdong Museum of Art until March 9, showcasing the beauty of the human body and sports. A gymnast dancing on tiptoe on the ball upon the point of a cube, a surfer ready to dive down a U pool-Marin presents the tension and beauty of sports in his works. The figures are memorable for wearing a mask like a bird's beak and spreading their huge wings. While in reality, humans need to fly with modern technology, in art they can be as free as birds in the sky.

9 am-5 pm, daily until March 9 (closed on Mondays). Hall 7, Guangdong Museum of Art,38 Yanyu Lu (Road), Ersha Island, Yuexiu district, Guangzhou.
