The clay figurines are glazed once they the smelting process is complete, in Nanshishan, Mengjin county, Henan province on January 5, 2014. The village is famous for making Tang sancai figurine, a tri-color style of glazed pottery from the Tang Dynasty. According to historical records from Mengjin county, the pottery craftsman Gao Liangtian succeeded in copying sancai art works with vivid colors.
