"The way of solving economic problems cannot be used for medical reform directly, and the awareness of respecting the life plays an important role in deepening reform," said Zhong Nanshan, director of the Guangzhou Institute of Respiratory Diseases in Guangdong province and NPC deputy, People's Daily reported.
He said that doctors from other countries earn a living by faithful skill, but domestic doctors rely on selling drugs. A doctor in China just spends half of the day seeing 50 patients. For patients, they see doctors three minutes after queuing for three hours.
"It is impossible for both to communicate with each other, and problems arise. I think it refers to systemic problems," Zhong added.
