Political advisors prepare proposals for Beijing CPPCC session

Wang Yingchun, a member of the Beijing Municipal CPPCC Committee, will make some suggestions on air pollution prevention and control at the Second Session of the 12th CPPCC Beijing Committee on Jan 14, 2014. Her suggestions include improving regional coordination mechanisms, enhancing the rule of law and doing more research on air pollution.

Chen Xiaobing is a new member of the Beijing Municipal CPPCC Committee. He raised 10 proposals in the past year; nine of them were recorded and replied to. One proposal that guide dogs should be allowed to enter all public places received much attention from local government departments. He will continue to consider people's livelihoods and social issues in performing his duties as a political advisor.

Du Xiao has been Mengtougou district’s political advisor for many years. Du became a Beijing CPPCC member last year. He wrote a proposal on tissue waste in public places. He plans to produce an opera and dance performance about Mengtougou district in the next two years.

Peng Lihong prepared many proposals for the Second Session of the 12th CPPCC Beijing Committee, including suggestions on talent outflow in the capital. She pointed out that environmental pollution, traffic jams and housing were major factors to the problem.
