Three children die after school bus accident in east China

JINAN -- Three children have died after their school bus collided with a truck on Tuesday afternoon in east China's Shandong Province.

Local authorities in Kenli County, Dongying City, said on Wednesday that three of the four children injured in the accident have died in hospital.

An initial investigation proved that the bus is a legitimately-licensed school bus with the Kenli Street Central Primary School. It collided head-on with a truck at 1:28 p.m., and overturned.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
