Police deny rumor over removing corneas

Police in Zhuji, Zhejiang province, denied a rumor that people were removing the corneas of others while pretending to sell telescopes, Qianjiang Evening News reported on Thursday. Recently, an online post said two or three men in an SUV were selling telescopes on the expressway over Zhuji, and they would remove potential buyers' corneas when they looked through the telescopes. Police denied such cases occurred and said the men were simply selling inferior telescopes.
