BEIJING - Police in south China's Guangzhou City shot dead a suspected drug dealer after he and his accomplice tried to flee despite a warning shot, a Ministry of Public Security statement said on Sunday.
Police fired at the two suspected drug dealers on Friday after they refused to get out of their car and attempted to drive at the police.
Their car hit a flower terrace and turned over shortly after the shots.
One of the suspects died. The other suspect, who escaped from the scene, was arrested in his rental apartment later that day. Police said they found drugs at the apartment.
