The family of a man who died of drinking too much at his friend's wedding banquet in Beijing is suing the bridegroom for compensation, Beijing Evening News reported on Monday.
The man, surnamed Wang, attended his friend's wedding in April 2013 and died after drinking too much alcohol at the wedding dinner.
Wang's father recently brought a lawsuit against the bridegroom, saying the bridegroom did not stop his son from drinking too much and asking for 720,000 yuan ($116,315) in compensation. Haidian district court in the city accepted the case.
