British-based property company G-Suite Holdings Ltd will hold a seminar, "Analysis on Laws and Property Owner Protection regarding UK Property Investment", with Shenzhen-based Centaline Property Agency Ltd this weekend in Shenzhen, Guangdong province.

With investors in China's southern regions as the target audience, the seminar will address the latest United Kingdom property laws, buying procedures, property owner protections and tax consultations, in order to let investors gain more understanding and confidence in investing in the UK property market, and to advise them in making low-risk, high-return investments.

British legal expert Hosanna Ho will be a guest speaker. Raymond Ngan, director of G-Suite Holdings Ltd, also has been invited to speak at the seminar. Ngan will analyze the development potential and prospects of the UK property market for investors.

G-Suite Holdings Ltd and Centaline Property Agency Ltd signed a strategic agreement in January, according to Wong Yuen Yee, chairman of G-Suite.

The seminar will be the first-ever event jointly organized by the two parties to introduce opportunities in a property market that is gaining increasing attention from investors in the Chinese mainland and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

Wong said that, apart from London, the United Kingdom offers a number of other cities with great investment potential. Manchester, for example, is a rising market as it houses a number of prestigious universities and higher institutes and is a popular destination for studying abroad among many Chinese and Asian students.

Manchester alone now houses more than 200,000 students, making its student population among the largest in Europe. The enormous student population has led to a rapid increase in the demand for rental apartments. Rentals in the UK have increased by more than 30 percent from 2008 until now and are expected to increase by 5 percent per year until 2020.

Headquartered in Manchester, G-Suite was started by a group of veteran real-estate developers and property investors. Its development projects focus mainly on London, Liverpool and Manchester, with a development gross floor area of approximately 1.5 million square feet.

G-Suite's newly launched residential property project "The Cardinal" also will be introduced at the seminar. "The Cardinal" is a boutique apartment project located in Oldham of Manchester. The project is suitable for residences of students and young professionals, whether leasing or as investment properties.
