Quick thinking by woman helps police catch robbers

A hotel waitress in Zhejiang province tricked two robbers into believing romance was in the air, Qianjiang Evening News reported on Tuesday.

The robbery took place at 10 pm on March 7 as the woman was walking home after work. The waitress stayed calm while being friendly to the pair and offering them 1,000 yuan ($162) and a smartphone voluntarily.

When the robbers relaxed their vigilance, the woman started flirting with them and succeeded in obtaining their phone numbers. Three hours later, the police tracked down the two by using the number they had given the waitress.
