GUIYANG -- Police have arrested suspects in a fatal explosion at a gambling den in Southwest China's Guizhou province, said local authorities on Thursday.
Two suspects, both surnamed Yang, allegedly conspired to commit robbery after setting off a bomb at a gambling site on a remote mountain slope in Laoshan village of Kaili city, according to the provincial public security department.
Fifteen people were killed in the blast, which occurred at 2:40 pm on Jan 13. Another seven people were injured.
The casualties were people who had gathered at the site to gamble.
