TOKYO -- A Chinese fishing boat detained by Japan was released along with all crew on board after finishing procedures on Saturday, Chinese Consulate General in Fukuoka confirmed.
The boat registered in China's Zhejiang province was detained by Japan late Friday off Goto city in Nagasaki Prefecture for "untrue working log," according to the consulate general.
A total of nine crew members were on board when the incident happened and the skipper was transferred to Hakata in Fukuoka after the detainment.
