70 years old, Bu Jianfang started collecting buttons in 1991, then he launched a World Button Museum in 1996. He has collected almost 200,000 buttons dating from ancient to modern times from more than 210 countries. His button museum was listed in Guinness World Records from 1997 to 2000. Now concerned about his age and physical situation, he is trying to coorperate with an organization to exhibit his collection to a larger audience.
