A large gold mine with a reserve of nearly 40 metric tons was recently found in Songxian county, Henan province, Zhengzhou Daily reported on Thursday.
According to the county's land and resources bureau, the gold mine can be developed for 42 years.
The county's search for gold mines started in 2009. The exploration has costs 150 million yuan ($24.7 million).
