FUZHOU - One H7N9 bird flu patient has died, and two patients have been discharged from hospital in East China's Fujian province, local authorities announced Tuesday.
The two lucky patients from the cities of Quanzhou and Ningde, were allowed to home on Monday and Tuesday. Another patient died on Monday, according to a statement from Fujian Health and Family Planning Commission,
As of Tuesday, of 15 cases the province has reported since the start of this year, eight have recovered and three have died. The remainder are still receiving treatment, the statement said.
China has reported more than 120 human H7N9 cases this year, including at least 28 deaths, with provinces of Zhejiang and Guangdong worst affected.
