Shenyang showcased at Times Square

A Shenyang promotional video that is broadcast on the big screen in Times Square, New York, has recently become a hot topic on the Internet, Shenyang Evening News reported.

The video, titled Welcome to Shenyang, capital of Liaoning province, started to be broadcast on Dec 20 and will continue for a year, the newspaper said.

The video showcases Shenyang's history, culture, scenic spots, urban construction, social and economic development, food, investment climate, facilities and the local people's hospitality.

Many Shenyang residents and netizens said the video will help raise the city's reputation abroad and expand Shenyang's international co-operation and exchanges.
