Chinese, Iranian presidents meet on ties

BISHKEK - Chinese President Xi Jinping met his Iranian counterpart Hassan Rouhani here on Thursday and the two leaders exchanged views on bilateral ties and issues of common concern.
Rouhani is in Bishkek for the 13th meeting of the Council of Heads of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states, scheduled to be held on Friday.
Iran became an observer of the SCO in 2005.
