The BRICS countries will not launch a "new stimulus" plan to tackle temporary economic difficulties, said a senior Chinese official.
Zhu Guangyao, vice-minister of finance, said China will pay more attention to the quality of its economic growth, which will definitely reach 7.5 percent this year.
"We don't have plans to launch a new stimulus package, and we aim to achieve quality economic growth," Zhu told China Daily at a news conference prior to the opening of G20 St. Petersburg Summit.
