KUNMING - One people was killed and another five injured in a street knife attack Friday in Southwest China's Yunnan province, local authorities said.
A man attacked six people using a knife near a coach station in the county seat of Fuyuan on Friday noon, the county's international communication office said in a statement.
All the six were rushed to the county people's hospital for emergency medical treatment, but one died as emergency treatment failed.
An auxiliary police officer and a taxi driver seized the killer and stopped his knife attack.
Local police have launched an investigation into the attack.
