Official with family abroad kicked out

Officials whose family members have all gone abroad will be prohibited from serving as the head of any departments or leading posts in key departments, according to a trial regulation in Xiangtan city, Central China's Hunan province, rednet.cn reported on Friday.

The city will pick up 11 departments as the pilot sectors, including the intermediate court, the city's procuratorate, public security and finance departments.

Shenzhen and Guangzhou, two southern cities in Guangdong province, have issued similar regulations.
