Four more drivers have joined a growing list of people in Beijing banned from driving for life due to the serious traffic violations, bringing the total number to 292 since the law came into force in 2004, Xinhua reported Monday.
The four male drivers were involved in major hit and run accidents since 2011.
There are more than five million vehicles registered in the capital, with a large number of driving license owners still waiting for a plate in the lottery system.
