TAIPEI - Six people have died from the wreck of a Taiwanese-registered gravel ship and two are still missing as of 8:30 pm Monday, according to the local officials.
The coast guard said it was searching for the missing captain and the crew member.
The boat Hai Hsiang No 8, with 15 crew members on board, sank off the north of Taiwan's Keelung port early Monday. The cause of the sinking has not been identified.
