BEIJING - Vice-President Xi Jinping will pay an official visit to Vietnam from December 20 to 22, and to Thailand from December 22 to 24, Foreign Ministry spokesman Liu Weimin announced on Friday.

Xi will visit the two countries at the invitation of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee, Vietnamese Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan and the government of the Kingdom of Thailand, Liu said.
