MADRID - The 2011 Global China Business Meeting (GCBM) which begins on Monday in Valencia on the east coast of Spain will feature around 400 Chinese business people along with representatives from Spain, Latin America and Europe.
"Many Chinese companies don't know how Europe works and this meeting is a chance to know how we work here as well as going deeper into the interests of Asian companies from different sectors who are able to get to know Spanish trademarks in order to establish their own here," said Jurgen Richter, chairman of Horasis, an international consultant firm that organizes the event.
Meanwhile, the Major of Valencia Rita Barbera said that the event will "place Valencia as an important point linking Africa, Europa and Latin America."
The meeting will be based on the connection between Latin America, China and Valencia as a center for Chinese investment and it will reflect the importance of Chinese companies building global and sustainable trademarks.
The two-day event aims to identify relevant themes in the business world to look for systematic solutions and discuss about the possibilities of a sustainable future for China and the World.
