BOAO, Hainan - Chinese Vice President Xi Jinping said on Friday China is willing to work with Unites States to properly address differences and increase dialogue to push forward bilateral ties.
Xi made the remarks while meeting with former U.S. Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson on the sidelines of the annual meeting of the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) in Boao, a resort town in China's southernmost Hainan province.

Xi described China and the United States as both countries of significant influence in the world, saying China-U.S. ties are the most important ones for both countries.
"China and the United States share broad common interests in promoting world economy recovery and sustained development, dealing with international and regional hot issues and safeguarding world peace and security," said Xi.
Xi said China highly values relations with the United States and will work with the U.S. side to properly address differences and sensitive issues and boost dialogue and exchanges in a bid to push forward bilateral ties.
Xi also elaborated China's on stance on China-U.S. trade ties and exchange rate, hoping the former U.S. treasury secretary could facilitate dialogue and cooperation between the two countries in economic and financial sectors.
Paulson said U.S.-China relations are important and the cooperation between the two countries would bring benefits to both countries.
Paulson also said the U.S. imports from China will be helpful for the United States to maintain low inflation and expand consumers' choices.
