NANCHANG: The first World Low Carbon and Eco-economy Conference passed a declaration here Wednesday, calling for all nations and businesses to develop low carbon and eco-economy to tackle global warming and other environmental issues.

The declaration acknowledged that environmental issues, including global warming, have posed severe threats to the ecosystem and human's survival.

The nations and businesses should shoulder common but differentiated responsibility in developing low carbon and eco-economy to react to pressures on resources and environment, it said.
