Dongfeng Motor Corp says it has signed AW Rostamani Group to distribute its Aeolus brand cars in the Middle East.

Under the agreement signed last week, AW Rostamani will sell Dongfeng's Aeolus S30 compact car and the Aeolus H30 hatchback in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

In China, the Aeolus S30 has a starting price of 67,800 yuan ($11,115) while the Aeolus H30 will sell for 73,800 yuan and above. Both are fitted with 1.6-liter gasoline engines.

AW Rostamani is a Middle East distributor for Nissan, Renault, and Infiniti.

Dongfeng, headquartered in Wuhan, currently sells S30, H30 and the A60, a mid-sized car, under its Aeolus brand. To date, its models are sold only in China.

The state-owned automaker also has joint ventures with Honda Motor Co, Nissan Motor Co, Kia Motors Corp and PSA Peugeot Citroen.

The Middle East is an export market for Chery Automobile Co, Great Wall Motor Co and Zhejiang Geely Holding Group Co.
