Fusheng Industrial Co, a Taiwan-based leading Chinese producer of air compressors, announced on Tuesday that it has acquired German compressor manufacturer ALMiG Kompressoren GmbH as Fusheng eyes expanding its global business.
"ALMiG has built an impressive position in the European market over its 80-year history. It has an outstanding reputation for high-quality engineering and design, and we are excited about bringing that capability to the global market," said Liang-Chen Lee, Fusheng Industrial chairman.
"We look forward to working closely with the management team and staff of ALMiG to expand our global business across Europe, Asia and North America," Lee added.
Wilfried Koltes, chairman of ALMiG, also applauded the acquisition.
"This opens a new chapter in the growth of ALMiG, which we embrace. We have had enormous success across Europe, and there is no better company than Fusheng Industrial with whom to expand into Asia and the US," he said.
Fusheng Industrial, founded in 1953, produces a range of industrial compressors used in construction and manufacturing, and has extensive manufacturing capabilities in the Chinese mainland, Taiwan, and the US, where it operates under the brands FSElliott and FSCurtis.
