New Arrival: All-new Buick Regal and Regal GS

Sino-US joint venture Shanghai GM recently launched both models in the eastern coastal city of Qingdao.

Designed to be a modern family car, the new Regal has five variants and priced between 178,900 and 245,900 yuan.

It is available with three engine options: the 2.4L SIDI, 2.0L ECO and 1.6L turbocharged.

A new-generation six-speed automatic transmission is standard on the car.

The high-performance Regal GS features bold exterior styling with distinctive air intake slots, a sporty front bumper, new 19-inch aluminum alloy wheels, matte trim and a dynamic integrated rear wing.

Powering the model is a 187kW, 2-liter direct injection turbocharged engine named by Ward's AutoWorld magazine one of 10 best engines last year.

It is priced between 239,900 and 299,900 yuan.
