The price of Chinese brand vehicles rose mildly in February by 0.66 percentage points from a year earlier, according to the country's price monitoring center at the National Development and Reform Commission.
Passenger vehicle prices saw a 0.58 percent increase compared to January, nearly 1 percentage point year-on-year, while commercial vehicle prices grew by 1.06 percentage points from January, up 0.35 percent year-on-year.
Meanwhile, prices of imported vehicles slid in the same period, a 1.25 percent drop year-on-year, with that of imported SUVs falling 0.82 percent and imported sedans 3.26 percent year-on-year.
