BEIJING - Chinese shares closed higher on Monday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 11.92 points, or 0.59 percent, to finish at 2,048.33 points.
The Shenzhen Component Index gained 30.65 points, or 0.42 percent, to close at 7,343.27.
